We are delighted to welcome Georgian multimedia visual artist and cultural practitioner Mari Kalabegashvili. Mari will be spending a month-long artist residency in ARD, in collaboration with Ria Keburia Foundation.
Mari Kalabegashvili is an emerging multimedia visual artist and cultural practitioner based in Georgia. She received her BA degree from the Visual Arts, Architecture, and Design School at the Free University of Tbilisi. Afterwards, continued her studies as a guest student in the class of Prof.

Gregor Schneider at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and in the class of Prof. Benjamin Foerser- Baldenius at the Stadelschule Frankfurt.

During her residency, Mari participated in ARD’s process-based program, which included talks, workshops, and exhibitions by resident practitioners. This environment facilitated artistic growth and cultural exchange, providing her with the resources and support needed to develop her practice in a new context.
