Vancouver and Vienna based artists Sabine Bitter and Helmut Weber, and Cairo based artist Huda Lutfi will discuss their shared interest in fabric through use of modern jacquard weaving and experimental stitching techniques in their visual practice. The artists will also talk about their current collaboration and how their practice is informed by the social and cultural histories of urban environments and how these issues become woven into the imageries they create.
