We are delighted to welcome artist Léon Dubois from France who will spend a one-month artistic residency in ARD with the support of the French Institute of Egypt.

Léon Dubois is an artist who works between France and Egypt, he combines film photography with archival research to take a contemporary look at literary works. After working on “Maalesh” by Jean Cocteau, the artist continues his work on literary imagination by searching for the Little Prince today, in the footsteps of Saint-Exupéry in the world. During this traveling project, he collects the individual memories of readers and draws up the contemporary outlines of a Little Prince of the 21st century. After a first research-exhibition in Alexandria in March 2023, the artist continues his work in Cairo with the support of the French Institute of Egypt.
